Northern Territory Government’s Grant and Funding Opportunities:
This is a search engine for NT businesses and Territorians to find grants and funding for training to upskill and reskill the NT’s workforce.
This program provides funding to upskill or reskill existing employees in the NT.
This program provides funding that assist Northern Territory businesses to carry out initiatives that create employment and help train and upskill the workforce for business and industry.
Aboriginal Responsive Skilling Grants
This grant funds regional and remote communities to train workers for projects in the community.
Aboriginal Workforce Grants Program
This grant program supports employment of Aboriginal people and ensures they get jobs and develop their careers within the workplace.
Pre-employment Training Program
This funding supports projects that give people practical skills to help them gain employment.
The Northern Territory Government and the Australian Government are jointly funding a range of courses to give Territorians practical skills for work. Those who are eligible are First Nations Australians, people out of work or receiving income support, and people aged 17 to 24.
Government Funded Courses (NT)
Find subsidised courses and check if you're eligible for funding in the Northern Territory.
The Northern Territory Government (NTG)is providing Fee-Free TAFE courses for individuals in the NT to pursue a fully accredited qualification, or short course without any cost. Also, the NTG, through its User Choice Funding subsidies the cost of an Australian apprenticeship or traineeship.
Business Security and Safety Audit Program
This program helps businesses to identify works required to deter and protect its premises and workers from crime and anti-social behaviour.
This program provides funding for training and employment programs for equity groups who are permanent residents of Australia and living in the Northern Territory.

Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment
Australian Apprentices may be eligible for financial assistance from the Australian Government to help with the costs of undertaking an apprenticeship.

Employers of Australian Apprentices may be eligible for financial support from the Australian Government to help offset the cost of taking on an apprentice.

Rural Health Workforce Support Activity
The Rural Health Workforce Support Activity (RHWSA) program aims to meet current and future regional, rural and remote community health workforce needs through workforce planning.

ECEC Workforce Professional Development and Paid Practicum
This grant helps the Early Childhood Education and Care workforce to assist with educator retention and upskilling. Funding can be used for educators mandatory or highly recommended training or be used to pay educators while completing the practical component of an ECEC degree.
Defence Industry Development Grants Program
The Defence Industry Development Grants Program will award grants over four years. The Skilling stream helps Australian defence industry to upskill and train in priority trade, technical and professional skillsets to develop a workforce with the right mix of qualified and experienced personnel to meet Defence requirements.

Unlocking Aboriginal Tourism Development Funding
The grant from Tourism NT aims to fund Aboriginal Territorians to start, grow, or enhance tourism offerings in the NT. Key aspects include funding for workforce planning, infrastructure, product development, and marketing.
