The Northern Territory Government and the Australian Government are jointly funding a range of courses to give Territorians practical skills for work. Those who are eligible are First Nations Australians, people out of work or receiving income support, and people aged 17 to 24.

ECEC Workforce Professional Development and Paid Practicum
This grant helps the Early Childhood Education and Care workforce to assist with educator retention and upskilling. Funding can be used for educators mandatory or highly recommended training or be used to pay educators while completing the practical component of an ECEC degree.
ECEC Workforce Practicum Exchange Living Allowance
The grant provides support to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) students (through their provider) already working in the sector with a living and travel allowance (for up to four weeks) to assist the students to complete a practicum placement away from their home location.

The grant opportunity facilitates significant industry collaboration to support outstanding pure basic, strategic basic and/or applied research in all fields (except medical research). The grant aims to build capacity and a diverse and inclusive Australian workforce research by attracting and retaining, from within Australia and abroad, established researchers of high international standing as well as high potential early and mid-career researchers and research students.

Defence Industry Development Grants Program
The Defence Industry Development Grants Program will award grants over four years. The Skilling stream helps Australian defence industry to upskill and train in priority trade, technical and professional skillsets to develop a workforce with the right mix of qualified and experienced personnel to meet Defence requirements.

Skills for Education and Employment First Nations
The grant aims to deliver locally tailored for whole of community LLND skills training to First Nations peoples. First Nations organisations, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, registered training organisations, Adult and Community Education providers or peak bodies (applying on behalf of their eligible members) can apply for the grant.
