By 2025 it is predicted that there will be 2 Million new jobs due to the transformation of business in Australia.
Vocational, Education and Training (VET) is one of the keys to the Northern Territory’s economic development and increase the local skilled workforce. VET is an ideal platform to learn new skills needed to fill future jobs.
What is VET?
VET is study and training that enables students to gain high-quality, nationally recognised qualifications for employment. It is designed to help you get the skills you need to enter and succeed in the workplace.
VET is not just for traditional trades, it encompasses hundreds of different occupations and industries including accounting, retail, hospitality, technology, and the arts.
A VET course can help you learn a new skill, get a job, or earn money while you learn on the job - through an apprenticeship or traineeship.
The flexibility of VET means that a qualification can be undertaken in schools, in the workplace, and in registered training organisations. VET courses are available full-time, part-time, online, distance education, apprenticeships, traineeships and through recognition of prior learning.
